Reginald Nguyen, MD, DABOM

Dr. Reginald Nguyen is a highly skilled physician with dual Board Certifications in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Academic Chief Resident.

Throughout his career, Dr. Nguyen has been dedicated to helping patients achieve better health and confidence. While working at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land, he became known as the "go-to" weight loss physician, which inspired him to expand his expertise and earn board certification in Obesity Medicine. His passion for guiding patients toward sustainable, weight loss solutions has remained a core part of his practice.

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My whole family of four has been going to Dr. Nguyen for a few years now. We were seeing other doctors at this office until they relocated, but we're glad they did. My teenaged daughter is extremely particular on who she would have as a PCP. And she's usually more susceptible to female doctors. However, Dr. Nguyen's honesty, and informative dialogue (mixed with a bit of humor) made her feel comfortable to where she wanted to see him again. And he really tries to get to know those that seem him on a regular basis and learn how family members are connected. I enjoy seeing him because he informs me of medical news as it relates to my health and he humanizes medical dialogue when going over blood work or other issues I may have going on. Another bonus to our visits...I feel as if we're almost in and out. After the nurses finish checking our vitals, Dr. Nguyen is not too far behind.
